Power distribution (BOM Rev 5)
Split-RCD topology per Beckhoff AX5000 System Manual §8.9: Type A/AC RCDs cannot reliably detect the smooth-DC residual current of the AX5000 rectifier front end, so the servo branch gets a Type B RCCB and the human-accessible 24 V branch gets a separate Type A 30 mA RCCB. Never one shared RCD for both branches.
SITE SUPPLY 45 kW / 380 V / 3PH+N+PE (neutral required — confirm TN-S)
└─ W101 (5C, ≥25 mm² Cu — verify) → Q1 TeSys GV3P73 MPCB, set 67–70 A (LOTO isolation point)

│ └─ PSU3 feed
└─ BRANCH 2 — 24 V DC CONTROL (L1 + N ONLY, ~230 V — NEVER phase-to-phase)
-F6 Acti9 iID A9R61440 (RCCB 4P Type A-SI, 40 A / 30 mA)
└─ -F7 Acti9 iC60N 1P C6
└─ -K3 TeSys Deca LC1D25P7 (2 poles used: L + N)
└─ -G1 Omron S8VK-C24024 (24 V DC / 10 A) → W113 → -A1 X03, -K1, -A0
-G1 input is 264 V AC max
Branch 2 must be tapped single phase + neutral. Wiring it phase-to-phase on the 380/400 V system destroys the PSU. This warning is also printed on SLD-001.
Sizing notes
- Q1 setpoint: Σ AX5000 rated currents (25 + 18 + 18 = 61 A) × 1.1 = 67.1 A min → set 67–70 A. Q1 stays closed in normal operation; -K2 does routine switching.
- Q1 sits upstream of both RCCBs — RCCBs have no short-circuit protection of their own.
- W103/W104/W105/W107 = 4C × 10 mm² — they carry the combined yaw + roll current (36 A) and W107 is protected only by F2 (40 A) until F4. Class 6 flex on all moving runs.
- F4 as close to the SR3 rotor exit as practicable (reduced-section tap rule).
- PSU2/PSU3 must accept 3×380 V input — there is no neutral through the slip rings.
- W118/W119 L+N tap (4 mm²) ≤ 0.5 m — protected only by Q1 until -F7.

Like-for-like brand substitution only — topology, safety architecture, slip-ring design and drive/motor specs unchanged.
